Nancy Hebert – Audit Manager

Nancy joined LCI Workers’ Comp in 2007 with an extensive background in premium auditing. Nancy serves as the Manager of the Audit Department. She also handles physical audits for LCI Workers’ Comp. Nancy works out of Lafayette.

Where did you grow up? What was the best part about growing up there?

My father was in the military, so we moved around.  After he retired, we lived in the Carencro area. The best part of growing up there was having aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents as neighbors, something you miss when you travel as we did.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I have a great team and enjoy interacting with them. We have common goals and work together to achieve them. As an auditor, I have an opportunity to meet with members, learn about their businesses and form relationships. I really enjoy getting to know them.

Where was your favorite vacation?

My husband and I went to Yellowstone a few years ago. The sights are breathtaking. I particularly enjoyed the waterfalls and the streams.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

Uncle T’s Oyster Bar in Scott, La. I enjoy the laid back atmosphere and the Boudin Egg Rolls!

What’s your favorite holiday?

My favorite holiday has always been Thanksgiving. I have fond childhood memories of Thanksgiving. My mother would prepare a feast, and our aunts, uncles and cousins would come with the tastiest desserts. I love to cook, so when it is my turn to host I have a ball preparing the same dishes my mother did.
