Hali Krista, Customer Service Rep

Hali joined the LCI team in 2020. You will find her smiling face at our reception desk, eager to assist. She has over a decade of customer service experience, having worked front line in every previous position of her employment. She graduated from LSU in 2019 with a BS in Biology. Hali lives in Bush, La with her husband and two cats. Her pastimes include crafting, service work, and aerial circus arts.

What does your ideal Saturday look like?

I love being on the move! Start off with some type of group workout class, then run errands, grocery shop, and meal prep. I thrive off productivity! For Saturday night, kicking back with friends and family is where I want to be.

What is your favorite app right now?

YNAB – You Need A Budget. This little app is the best budgeting app out there. My husband and I do “the Dave Ramsey thing” and this app makes life so simple!

Where was your favorite vacation?

I spent 5 weeks in Costa Rica on a volunteer trip in college. I stayed with locals, worked with biologists to rehabilitate sea turtles, and planted mangroves to improve the ecosystem. My group explored the country including staying in an ecotourism rainforest lodge, white water rafting, rappelling down waterfalls, and meeting the indigenous Maleku tribe.

Do you have any hobbies?

When I’m not taking care of our members at LCI, I’m flying from the ceiling on aerial silks, trapeze, and lyra (hoop). I’m a certified aerial arts instructor. This Fall, I’ll be opening AeroCirque, LLC to teach aerial fitness on the Northshore! It’s gone full circle from hobby, to dream, to reality.

What is your favorite restaurant?

This is a hard question because I really like experiencing food! How do you just pick one!? There are different restaurants I like for different things. Blent Juice Bar on the Mandeville Lakefront has the best juices and smoothies. The best burger in town is easily Walk-ons. However, when I’m on the move,  Raising Cane’s is where it’s at!

What’s your favorite holiday?

Christmas! It starts a few months ahead with planning out the presents. I adore gift giving. I don’t need anything in return, as I get so much satisfaction from fulfilling a need for someone else. On the day of, I cherish that slow morning roll of gathering on the couch to exchange presents, then our Christmas breakfast followed by a relaxing day at home with no responsibilities.
